Sport Stacking is an exciting individual and team sport where participants of all ages and abilities stack and unstack 12 specially designed cups (Speed Stacks) in pre-determined sequence with amazing precision and dexterity. Competitors race against the clock for individual times and compete head to head in team relay events. Official age groups range from 4 years/under up to seniors (60 and above).

Sport Stacking originated in the early 1980’s in Southern California, however it was not until the late 1990’s that the sport really took off; when Speed Stacks Inc. was founded by Bob Fox. Sport Stacking is now an integral part of more than 30,000 physical education programmes world wide and has positively impacted on over 10 million students and participants of all ages.

Due to its popularity with teachers, instructors, children and adults alike, Sport Stacking tournaments and events take place throughout the year.

WSSA Australia hosts the annual Australian Championships and The Australian Sport Stacking Team otherwise known as the “Stackaroos”, compete in the World Sport Stacking Championships held each year in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A.
